SLRGear DA50/1.8 Full Test (on K-5)

I think it performs quite close to the old A50/1.7 and A50/2 and the behaviours are quite similar for what are tested and found. However, the DA50/1.8 is really selling too pricey, and its construction is too cheap to justify its high price, on the other hand.

I was thinking about buying this when it first came out, but had forgot about it. The price was very reasonable (under £150), now it seems to have gone up - quite a lot in perspective - now over £200. Which is unreasonable IMHO.

I would like to see Pentax change back the body mount design so that owners of 'K' and 'M' lenses can use them in aperture-priority mode on their DSLS. For me that would be an immediate improvement.
