You can just check graphs from Imatest or translate whole text using Google. The website is run by the same guys who established this project: http://www.lenstip.com/
They use always the same, scientific backgrounded procedure (most of the staff have PhD degrees). Only problem with them is that they prefer photograph a tables instead of real photographic scenes, but this is normal when you working with Imatest and you goal is to repeat very same method every time.

I saw that on many feathers, those that are more in focus and more crisp, appear a sort of artifact, colored and not colored moirè, it looks like the plot of a lightweight fabric (arc shape) superimposed on the real details, but is an interference probably better definable as Newton's rings..
And then I can not explain what it might be that black edge, like a stroke of the pen (or the effect of an excessive sharpening, old style) that bounds the tip of the beak, outside, and on the left side only.
Had any of you noticed these before?

It is worrying that Ricoh put on its website this absurd example of bad performing technique or elaborative.
Are they perhaps engineers child?
