D-mount CCTV Lens on Pentax Q (Elgeet 1/2" F1.9 12.5mm)

Note also that the above Q is made up with one of the leather stickers in different colours that can be purchased at Japan:-



And this is the D-mount to P/Q adaptor the author used:-



Some full samples are available for download, you can view them, but don't have any higher hope on the Image Quality, as I don't think neither the body nor the lens used could produce higher still image quality and thus it is just impossible for this combo afterall!

I'm a new comer to your blog, also in HK. It's so informative!
Wonder what is the proper d-mount diammeter? Is it 15.88mm? Is there different diammeters for D-mounts? I got three D lenses and Q10, but the d-pq adaptor could not fit.
Buying online is not always positive.... :-p

According to various sources in the Internet, the thread diameter of the D-mount is 15.88mm, whilst the back focus register distance is 12.29mm.

So, if the adaptor does not fit, it could just be a quality issue.

Thanks so much for the VERY PROMPT reply!! The seller show me that he a fit a certain movie/CCTV lens on it, with the on-lens screw diammeter of 14.93 mm, as measured with a digital measuring device. He called that D-mount.

So, maybe for the Mainland, there are 2 different types of "D-mount", as I only found out another seller has a D-mount to PQ adaptor that is nearly 16mm in diammeter. Buyers beware, I guess.

Many thanks! My new Q10 is my recent foray back to Pentax, after Optio 330 digicam and film Pentax AF SLR. I can only say Pentax had changed a lot.

Buy at Taobao and don't buy at Hong Kong. The goods in HK are usually inferior in quality (those are the cheapest ones found in Taobao) and at Taobao you can have more choices. I recommend Kipon which has better build quality and compatibility, although it is more expensive.
