Well, maybe because the in-body SR of Pentax is so good! So why OS lenses? ;->

But I hate that even they omitted the OS, the price of the non-OS version of these lens for Pentax/Sony is still the same as the same lens for Canon/Nikon with OS :(

The non-OS version *may* have better image quality (as there is no moving optics and usually one or two additional lens elements can be saved).
yes the OS version also problems at times with blurring photos as I've experienced with Nikon. Infact they made it an issue where the OS must be off at work because it contributes to blur or fuzzy images using the 18-135 on a Nikon d90
Sorry for my ignorance, but why most sigma lenses have a lock switch? do they suffer lens creep? I don't own any sigma lens, only pentax, so i'm not familiar with them.

OS for Pentax (and Sony) didn't make any sense at the first place, about time they are getting rid of it... they might now find energy to focus on QC and WR instead...
OS did also consume more power from the battery anyway, if turned on. What I have realised with my Sigma 18-50 2.8-4.5 with both OS on Sigma and SR on K10D / K-r turned on.
With focal length below 100, optical stabilizer inside lens is not better than in camera system like in K5. K5 also provides rotational compensation. I know at least one task where K5 rotational stabilizer is superb - when videographing, try to shoot video from 100 mm handheld with 5D, but you can move smoothly with K5. Of course I am not comparing IQ and other features here, K5 video is not so HQ but you can not carry all tripods, steady shot systems with you all the time.

More options is always better if the options can be switched on and off.
