Thanks, Richard. Btw, the reach isn't that much enough for a 300mm on APS-C. I have done some croppings for most photos.

Good results anyway, Rice. I have used an old Sigma 100-300 film frame AF sometimes on my Pentax dslr with acceptable results. 300mm on APS-C provides decent reach compared to the cost of a 450mm full frame, if one exists in any mount.

FF is not that suitable for those super-tele applications but for making landscape and portraiture, the huge advantages are seen.
