A pro friend of mine makes a good living year shooting commercial photography. He's doing ok. Uses Hasselblads.
His latest favourite camera is the Pentax Q. He has even sold some images made on it.
The internet is full of people who, frankly, are gear snobs who do not have the SLIGHTEST IDEA what they are talking about..
Take the photographers of Magnum or LIFE magazine over the past 60 years or so. They have taken the finest pictures EVER TAKEN !
And they did'nt worry about gear. Their pictures are often full of grain, sometimes not even sharp, but they have changed history.
The Q is awesome. Awesome simply because it is fun to use, beautifully made and solid, and so small that you want to take it with you everywhere.. and that is the point.
Of course, the gearheads will not understand. But they wont be photographers. True photographers recognise the point of the Q and see its advantages.
