Pack a Gun to Protect Camera Gear from Airline Theft or Loss!? (in USA Only)

See:-

Sometimes, I do find that some US laws are funny. I just wonder why firearms could be transported legally so easily after all?! Yes, owning guns are human rights in the States, but how about the living rights for those innocent people who have been killed from year to year just because of this stupid policy? >:-(

Starter pistol (they talk about) doesn't kill a fly, it shoots blanks. Guns don't kill, people do (with gun, beer bottle or a car, the same thing).

Great article, will remember that for my "next flight". Thanks RH!

But strangely enough, gun ownership got limited in Australia ("voluntarily" surrendered to and collected by government in 1996 or so) and crime went up big time (I understand). I read an article from AU warning "Yanks" not to let the same happen to us in the US. To have a gun at home is more of a deterrent than much else....

Rise in crime is a false claim made by NRA in 2000. As far as it goes it seems that gun control in Australia does not have any statistically significant effects, though it is still inconclusive: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gun_politics_in_Aust...
What governments have taken guns from their people? That should lead you to the correct perspective on this topic.
