Very interesting. So Pentax associates with Loewe, a prominent brand in fashion industry (also owned by Louis Vuitton), as Pentax has been related to fashion industry for a long time (december edition of Vogue Spain magazine was all about Bruce Weber and his Pentax 67)
I think this is a smart move by Pentax on moving upward, as the Marc Newson approach, to become a "object of desire". I mean, do 90% of the iphone buyers know what is inside of the little case or what can they do with it? they just buy it because that's the phone everyone wants, because it's a "designer phone".
How do I know all the fashion stuff? my girlfriend is a fashion designer ;)
