Some good news at last! A full frame Pentax in the near future ("near" we hope!).

Ricehigh, forget the red - be happy!
Rice, that's an ugly red HD coating ring.
Quite obviously those are FF lenses (just look at the diameter, and you wouldn't need so many switches unless they come with OS, which will likely be needed sine Pentax/Ricoh engineers failed getting sensor shift to work with FF sensors).

These bulky lenses are:
- large diameter telephoto lens, somewhere between 70 mm and 200 mm.
- high magnification super telephoto lens, somewhere between 150 mm and 400 mm.
I got it from the "despicable" road map for lenses, published here

The lens' are two full frame offerings in the future with a full frame body, one is a re badged Tokina 70 200 f4, and the other is a 150 400 in house job, the switches are not for Anti Shake, they are the same as the 560 lens, Focus on/off and Focus limit on/off the third switch on the longer lens is a zoom lock as the zoom mechanism moves forward by about 5-6 inches, the full frame body will have anti shake in the body, so as to maintain the electronic AA filter and built in shift lens.

Those lenses go on Endoscopes to be used on people who go crazy over weak unsubstantiated Pentax FF rumors!

those lenses are the new lenses for Pentaxes FF DSLR('s). I had a talk with Vito Aurora(Ricoh Suisse) and when i asked him about FF future he took me over to take e look at the lenses. And smiled a very big smile. That is more then fencepost. I asked 2015? He said that i can reckon that.

I love their appearance, they remind me of the 645 designs and look like they mean business. And the Red/Gold combo looks way better than Green/Gold.

By the way, Canon can also be congratulated for joining the color SLR league :)

I looked at used lens prices recently. The DA*300f4 is a good example. Retails for $1350, but you can get a mint condition on ebay for less than half the price.

Either they are pricing the new lenses too high or something else?

Why would anyone buy a new lens when you can get a good new one for half the price? A warranty is not worth that much.

Hopefully they don't price these lenses too high.
