... they make watches since the 1960s or so....and guess what, from time to time they release new models. So what?
This together with the K-S1 tells a lot about where they are heading.
So you miss the most interesting news abt the coming three zoom lenses for K-Mount. http://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/40-homepage-of...
And dont forget that RnD is quite active producing patents, as you are an engineering, this could be ur interest: http://wiki.clockahead.com/index.php?cmd=read&amp...
Ummm . . . are these full frames watches?
They also make photocopiers and quite a few other products. Maybe I should write a whiny blog post about how Sony makes stereo equipment. Those watches look nice if a bit too expensive for my tastes.
No, there is no justifying this. Ricoh goes into the biggest fall photographic manufacturers convention with one entry-level body, an announced standard zoom, two lenses in development, an activity camera, a weatherized entry P/S, and some watches. Watches that do not control anything on the camera, just match their appearance.

Throwing that 20mp sensor in the K-50 body, and calling it the K-60 would have been more interesting. Slight spec bumps in the K-3 would have been interesting. Rerelease a few more 645 lenses, or a couple more Q lenses would be better.

Well, at least we're not Canonites, all they really got was a warmed over 7D replacement.

Canon got 3 new lenses, including a 24mm pancake, and a new point and shoot in addition to the 7D replacement. Ricoh stinks!
