Btw, I am happy to see this stop-gap model will soon come to an end, after one year and something, possibly! :-D

Early November. Ricoh waits big guys to show off first. Be patient, it will be worth the wait.
And, there'll be a new lens too, never seen in the FF or APS-C worlds before. F2.8, starts at 17mm. Can't tell more, sorry ...

What most of us really want to know is when will it go for half price? Other than that the Pentaxians like me are already looking for a better DSLR (besides Pentax) for our outfits, with little or no confidence in Ricoh!!!

This "stop-gap model" is definitely the best K-mount DSLR made so far and one of the best APS-C DSLRs ever.
