Actually, I don't hate them to make such fun, but at the same time they should put out more serious stuff that perform. Unfortunately, there is none!

Hoya let go of the best lens designer Pentax had, then Hoya releases the 18-135 which blows. I just don't see Pentax capturing market share.

I just don't see Pentax bringing out any great lenses in the near future. Pentax quality control under Hoya has really slipped. I'll spend my money elsewhere.

Over at Pentaxforum, many like he 18-.135. Now Photozone has published their negative test, suddenly everbody here complains. What gives?

Also, nobody is irreplaceable, and if some engineer left Hoya, they can hire another one. Lens design sure has changed over the past 30 years!

I just wish they'd sell the 85/1.4 again, I don't want to pay those ridiculous used prices but would like the lens.

Looks idiotic.

Instead of making good gear for advanced and amateur photographers they make color funny toys for noobs.

Not sad for me anyway - I'm not Pentaxian in my heart anymore. I can use any gear I want/need. Right now I'm using LX5, but thinking of NX100 (but it can not use Leica M lenses =, only m39)

I don't care much about the colors. The more Pentax sell, the better the future will be.

Oftenly, I care about the colours, as I care much about the quality and performance of the Pentax gear!

The more colours Pentax made, I purchased more! :-o ;-D
