The current rumor is that this is a Tamron 24-70. We will have to wait for specs to compare optical formulas. The assumption has been that it would be the Tokina 24-70 until now.

looks quite like the Tamron. I hope that it won't be much more expensive, or that the Tamron will be available in Pentax mount too.
