So, this is still a half-baked mock-up. Just note the lack of metal contacts for the pins in the hot-shoe.

In other words, the shell is ready and could have been finalised. However, the inside of the Pentax FF is still under development and not yet tested! :(
Ricoh is really brilliant to take seven months to build a real camera shell from the preliminary 3D printing. Now, it would take them another half a year to put things inside this big FF and then maybe another several months to fully test it. Hurray!

I don't care some (extra) delay.... Spring is soon enough. For those who want earlier, please buy Nikon, Canon or Sony. May be waiting and surching is of more importance than buying and owning.

Using the K-10, K-5, K-3II, I ... was ... waiting and waiting a Pentax FF. But after years of half informations about the Situation that FF is under construction I don't have anymore the confidence in Ricoh, sorry Pentax. Against my conviction I will test now Nikon D-4 or D 810.
One customer less, that's not a very deep problem, but one and one and one ....
I also used K-10, K-20, K-01, K5, K5IIS, K-S1 and waited for FF, I know the theoretical FF's pro's and cons but I'am not 100% sure I will really need it, however I think I will. Then I have back my Pentax Super A / ME Super, I never owned LX (to expensive for me). The new FF eats both DA and FF. I really think it will be a very nice camera and it it worth to wait for it.
I bought a *ist D, DS, DL2, K-100D, K-m, K-x, K-r and K-5 but stopped after that because I have been waiting for the Pentax FF. That's why Pentax is losing their customers over years! :(
The K-5IIS / K-S1+2 are a new dimension (sharper). But I agree with you! They are (too) late and did not recognize the new developments.... But within six months we have the new camera. Is it an option to fly to The Philippines-plant and help them with testing?? I hope it is not TOO LATE. I am a dreamer, I compare the new FF with my never owned LX and I will wait and wait.
"The Pentax full frame DSLR is also rumored to have a High Resolution shooting mode, which may capture multiple photos in quick succession and then combined into an ultra-high-definition image. This technique could allow the Pentax FF camera to produce photos well over 100 megapixels in resolution."
Is this true?
delay after delay is a commercial "big hit ": voor Ricoh/pentax

I am not worried about FF delay, may be extra testing is needed to provide problems in practice.
In formal sense it is not introduced.
However I don't understand announcement of FF DA* 70-200, already tested by Ephotozine, and the delay (April 2015 - Spring 2016) because the quality (resolution?) is not * (star) proof ?????? So they have to re-design or re-engineer the optical formule? This is a shame imo and not very professional!

How many of the current Pentax users are willing to drop the kind of coin that is required to get a FF setup? I know that I'm not. It's part of the reason I went with Pentax: Best camera I could get for the price. If the camera turns out to be something great compared to the competition, it will be priced as such.

I have so many Pentax FF lenses already but just lack a body.
I think € 2K for FF 42MP will be a bargain.
Add another 1K. Forget those Pentaxeros "predictions".
They are deliberately keeping in the dark where the AF motor should be... I hope that they will keep it, otherwise they will loose the compatibility with the FA lenses, especially with the 77, 43, 31 and 100 macro that are still in production...
