Pentax def needs to work on zooms, so this is good. Too bad there's not a 28mm prime in there....or a 24mm....or a 18mm....a 10mm prime would rock too.

All Ineed is a wide fast prime (something between 20-28mm) and something fast in UWA range (DA*11-16/2.8? ;))
Actually wide prime should be no longer than 24mm...
There is the discontinued FA* 24mm f2 [IF] ... look for one :) I've heard it's not too good of a lens though.
I know that, but I was thinking about something faster, preferably f/1.4 or even f/1.8 but sharp as FA31... Let's say DA21/1.8 Ltd...;) Ok, if it's 21mm, it could be just f/2...:P
I gotta admit...24-35 is a bit odd on aps-c.....full frame? :)

They are probably not showing the full range....hmmmmm..also a 28-80 would be good on ff too. The have it between 45 and 90....hmmm....a new 28-80 standard zoom for FF??? :)
Where can you see it?
Here's a question you can answer possibly rice....what new lenses since 2010 have not been full frame compatible? I'm also very curious to see if the 560 covers a ff circle. I have a strong hunch it does.

DA18-135 and the newest DA18-270 for sure, plus DA40 XS. As for DA560 - long telephoto primes are usually FF compatible.

DA (*) for APS-C lenses, FA for FF format lenses and MF lenses. So most of the lenses now on sale are APS-C lenses. There maybe some that have a larger light circle that fits the full frame but I don't know which.
If you want FF pentax lenses there are the FA primes, but also Sigma and Tamron have lenses that are FF compatible. Sigma have their DG line. Tamron has their Di mark for FF compatible lenses. That gives you enough possibilities in the event of a Pentax FF dslr popping up out of the dark.
It's said, that those Tokina derivates DA12-24/4 and DA*16-50/2.8 are going to be discontinued, hence the news lenses on the horizon.
I suppose we will see a DA 20-35/2.8 SDM Limited (substituting the missing primes in this range), a DA12-24/4 WR SDM, a DA*16-85/4 SDM (inspired from Nikon) and a HD DA 120-400/4 WR.

The....DA* 16-85.....NOW
be sure it won't be a bargain ;-)
f/4? No Thanks. And it's gonna be rather something closer to 18mm...
