Let's Photoshop Together!

As Pentax could PS the new K-5II and K-5IIs' front faces with just an old K-5 image, Pentaxians have learnt to do the same to satisfy their FF dream!

Here we go!

Wow, a new Pentax digital FF with a Nikon D7000 vertical grip (MB-D11)! And then there is a super slow Pentax standard prime with a maximum speed of F4 only! Well, my hats off to the author(s) for these creations! :-D

Why don't you go spend time taking pictures with your FF Pentax camera instead.

You are such a Nazi.
CONGRATULATION FOR THE GOODWIN POINT !!!

You are quite good : you are only the 5th post !
Other brands get real cameras but we get fantasies.
This is real.

These aren't fan made mockups? The ff will have a grip inbuilt? Seems very unlike pentax. I would expect a more compact ff ala d600.

This blog showcase the worst kind of bitterness one has towards a company's product. I am surprised people has not pooled together a petition to force this blog go offline. All the posts by this Ricehigh fellow are just asking for justifications to fullfill his own personal grunt against Pentax. Ricehigh kept saying that he does not force anyone to come and read these pages but new pentax users do not know better and they stumble to this blog and after reading these articles, they become another ricehigh in other forums. This is what ricehigh wants. This blog must be stopped.

There's nothing wrong with Pentax, only a lot of people are expecting miracles from a 135 format camera, which should be doing miracles to your photography. Keep on dreaming, lads.
This blog has become as obsolete as a film camera. Bitterness and bashing don't buy you much. RH is behaving like a spoiled child for not getting what he wants from Pentax-Ricoh. Go get it somewhere else (Sony, Nikon, Canon), son and stop the spoiled brat act.
You are a moron.

Look anybody who has purchased and used Pentax products over the last 35 years will remember when Pentax was a market force, its products lead and others followed, Pro shooters used the 645 for location work and almost all studio's had either a 67 Pentax or a Mamiya RB67, think of those who used the 67 Annie Leibovits, Bob Carlos-Clarke, Bailey & Donovan icons of photographic art in the sixties, students all learned on K1000 or old Spotmatics, to see Pentax now is like seeing a great Football team slipped from the 1 division to division 4, Rice is only the way he is because Pentax have made him so, he is Mr Hyde to Pentax's Dr Jekyll, he has many of Pentax's great cameras, I have several myself and have owned many more, they need to get back into making cameras that stand with the best as they did in the past, and being polite and telling them they are allright won't do it, tell them the truth and hope they listen.
Regards Snappertim
That's true and those were the days!
I come for the drama. Its like watching a train wreck.

Go take some pictures rice high!
"but new pentax users do not know" they also do not know that company will do everything against wil of it's ovn breaders

New users will do a lot better frequenting other forums where there are pentax users who ARE photographers. Ricehigh is NOT a photographer. He scour the internet for pentax adverse news, add spice to them and posted them in this blog. That is all he does. Sure, many forums have their share of fanboys but there are also many more nice people who are willing to share their experiences. This is what pentax users need. Does this blog has any section whereby users can post their questions on the camera and received technical answers? No. All one would have received are pentax never get their cameras right. We get it. Pentax sucks. So move on guys.

A camera is a tool. A pentax camera is a tool. For goodness sake treat the tool as it is. A tool to create photograph.

If you buy a computer, do you go everywhere on the internet trying to find adverse news about the computer you just bought? If you buy a new toyota do you go online and search for adverse news and complains about your new car when you have not even experienced any issues with the car? If you have issues with the pentax camera and you can't get it fixed, for goodness sake change system if that makes you happy.

If you want new features in a camera and that is not available from pentax, for goodness sake buy other camera. Just like if you want a car with XYZ features and Toyota aint making it....do you go setup a blog to collect adverse news about toyota? Dude...just buy another car.

This ricehigh fella really has an identity issue. He cannot reconcile with himself that the pentax camera is not for him and he must make sure that the rest of the world thinks like him.

have you read dpreview comments? the pentax trolls are far and wide. photorumors has a bunch too. i think ricehigh is high alright and seems to keep forgetting that pentax already makes a professional camera that produces images of higher quality than any full frame camera. The upgrade path at pentax has always been towards the MF format. I expect a 645d mk2, hopefully with live view (sorely missed) so I have something new to lust after. FF is for amateurs. If you look at the long term they are going to hit the wall on resolution with glass far faster (diffraction @f5?? lol) on FF than they will with MF. I'm all for FF, but resolution seems to be the most you are going to gain at this point IMO. The pixel pitch of the highest density full frame cameras is about the same as aps-c, which means that aps-c is going to be even more resolution challenged. I'm quite sure that pentax/ricoh see full frame as the only future for their company ultimately. Its obvious that the market is trending towards aps-c being used more in mirrorless than dslr. To me that's why the k-01 seems so silly, but seeing as how the lenses can be recessed, I don't see a design like this being any more unwieldy than a nex-7 and a zoom. They really just need an evf and k-30 like specs. Sell it as an entry level camera and cover two markets. Pentax will always probably be behind the curve slightly. Thats not why I bought a pentax though. I wanted easy access to classic mf lenses. I wanted the smc coating. I wanted the pixie dust. I love pentax glass. They might have lost their mojo a bit, but their coatings are still excellent and they seem to be rebuilding their lens design team, so there is hope! Seriously, give them some time. I think the k-30 was a nice release and very competitive.
btw... where are the authors/creators of amazing Limited lenses 31-43-77? May be they work in Nikon optic lab's :) Why we d't see the new Tokina's lenses for Pentax? Where is the camera's - lenses Pentax roadmap?
So bad Photoshop
Sorry if the 645 was a pro option then pros like me would be using it instead of lets say a pahse1 with interchangable backs, full tethering, pilotable via wifi, viewable on clients ipads as you shoot etc, or a H4/H5 with true focus etc
Yes i have worked with the old 67 which was a pig to load and unload, yes i put my 67 lenses on my LX, yes i still have an RZ, yes i was the only kid in art school with a pentax yes yes yes..... but its over, like when i used to have hair, 20kg less weight and could still run a mile without falling over. There are NO serious options for a pro photographer working with a pentax unless he wants to seriously complicate his life and change the camera body every 3 years because the back doesnt come off the body!
