K-30 DxOMark has been Out

At a total score of 79, now ranked at  25:-

Or compare it against the K-01 and K-5, here.

In fact, all the major IQ performance aspects are more or less the same as the K-01, which is not well expected as the K-30 and K-01 share the same sensor and image processor and with the same specifications on those parts.

It still beats the Canon 7D and Nikon D7000 in 95% of all measurements. A great result compared to these expensive cameras.

Now the new Sony sensors are the Kings of the DxO *Benchmark*!

Btw, the 645D has the same mark as the K-5. But at the end of the day I don't think that the K-5 is anything that comes not even close to the 645D in term of image quality.
The Sony RX100 matches the 7D on overall score on DXO!

I bought one for my wife and it is a great little camera. My wife uses it normally, but I have a quick setting for 1:1 B/W that I usually use it on.
G'day Rice. Yes, you're right. However, remember that the DxO site does not measure or compare resolution.

They don't measure it, but they do *count* it, for what the marks are "normalised"!
