Pentax Q Struggles to Stay in the Japanese Sales Chart

It is ranked at 77 this week at best, and 74 as for the last, for the Japanese BCN sales volume chart which ranked from 1 to 80:-

Good luck, Q and Pentax! It seems that the Q would soon fall out of the chart in the near future unless it should be price reduced, IMHO! :-o

Q的定價真是太高了,
想想SONY的NEX-5N才賣多少.

另外,PENTAX走小巧這招,雖不能說不對,
但總覺得好像打不到痛處,不痛不癢的,實在可惜.

Maybe Q was produse and sell by Hoya to distributor before Ricoh. So Ricoh does not care much about those units.

Q is a marketing phenomenon to get attention to Pentax brand, same thing as Nikon 1. Both products are not serious but contain nice features. Nikon has hybrid AF, Pentax has very high speed 1/2000 flash sync speed but with tiny on board flash only. Q handling is better but probably Nikon sensor is better.

If Nikon and Pentax ever got together they could create the world's perfect camera...Nikon autofocus Pentax image quality.

It's at no. 61 now and rising... it's ahead of the K5 in terms of sales, so Pentax is currently doing quite well out of the Q.

The Kr is at no. 16...
