Sigma 150mm/2.8 EX DG OS Macro Will be Available in K-mount

http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/755347-USA/Sigma_106109_150mm_f_2_8_EX_DG.html

The arrival date is not yet known, though.

Besides, this lens is a DG lens. So, full frame compatibility is guaranteed, which is the same as those original Pentax DFA macro lenses. But nevertheless, Pentax does not have any full frame body up till now anyway, and not likely in the foreseeable future.

Sigma DG is for FF
Sigma DC is for APS-C

It's easier to bash Pentax than read Sigma's spec...

OIC and thanks. I have little knowledge about those 3rd party nomenclatures btw~
So why make an uninformed comment? Typical Rice.
Because I always think that Pentax is better, when compared against those 3rd parties!

Glad you know it. DC or DG FF, the same for macro at f16+. Too bad not all can hold the precious FA200mm F4.0 ED... :o)
The old discontinued FA*200/4 Macro, is undoubtedly one of the most superb Pentax lenses that could never be seen again in the Pentaxland! It is very nice for use to shoot butterflies in the film days, as the shooter could not come too close to them.

Also the bokeh of FA*200/4 Macro is in its own league standing by itself. Pinnacle of (ANY lens) engineering it is, indeed....tested against CaNi (180&200 respectively), testers had to admit, this P macro is the #1...

Ricoh might look at the old treasures and revive one of the best again, including the long 1200mm & 250-600mm glass or so....Can't wait to see in a couple of years what they do with all that P knowledge...
"Because I always think that Pentax is better"
Really! Is that why you spend your time bashing Pentax?
Why should you waste your time to bash me either?
Rice, I wasn't bashing you I just asked you a question. You made an inaccurate statement in your usual scatter gun fashion & your defence of that was "Because I always think that Pentax is better". My response to that is "Really. That's not the impression one gets from your comments. Just the opposite."
A brief moment of truth. Enjoy it and think of it next time the scatter gun is on.
And its always easier to bash me than admitting any flaw of Pentax gear too!
This Sigma in Nikon mount has been selling for less than list price at B&H while Pentax mount owners wonder if this will ever get made. You want this lens then buy a Nikon camera today. Its that simple, it's always that simple.

I wonder if you realise what a 'pric' means in British slang.

He may not, who would want to call themselves a certain smaller "inmate".. :o)
Pentaxians often feel proud of themselves of being "smaller"! ;-D

Getting funnier every day.. :o)
But I am not joking completely at all. The biggers are not always better. One of the main reasons to stay with Pentax is their smaller lenses, still.
Dear Santa, i was a good boy all year through......
there is a Pentax 100/2.8 macro and a 200/2.8.
who needs this animal in between?

DA*200/2.8 is not a macro lens. For shooting small insect macros, a longer focal would be desirable.
