Hi.
Could the OM-D EM-5 match the Pentax K-5 / K-01 IQ / dynamic range? No, I am sure.

There is no way it can match the K-5 in dynamic range because its sensor is smaller and the Sony sensor in the K-5 has the best DR at this time. I think it's DR and its high ISO performance should be better than K-7's, a bigger camera.

Pentax focuses even faster when the distance to the subject stays the same.

Yup, it sure looks fast. The Olympus OM-D looks like a nice camera, no need to say anything bad about it.

I wouldn't get it because I do not have any m43 lenses, and am not looking to buy into that system. All my lenses are in K-mount, so thats the camera I look at. I want to see the AF ability of the K-01, especially in movie mode. I like how the Pentax system handles things, and while there are things I would change, but overall I do not want to change.

Yes I expect the em5 to focus faster than the k-01. But which one will h e better low and high ISP performance along with dynamic range? Both I think are good cameras
