Btw, has Ricoh taken my earlier advice for the Q in using the classic Pentax logo instead of the modern one? I could be a product (outlook) designer, but not just an engineer! Nope? ;-D

with the image quality of the k-5...

Looks like kx with that mode dial in the midlle. Hope it would look better, it doesent convince me.

Design looks OK, not especially beautiful but at least different than the usual industrial bulbousness. Kind of Bauhaus like the old Agfa ePhotos, should do well to set this line apart visually from DSLRs. Hope those nice snag-free strap lugs are metal and not painted plastic. Doesn't look quite as thick as I thought it would, overall I think it's better proportioned than NEX, which doesn't have enough body to really hold comfortably (except maybe the 7).

Since I have a few Ltds sitting around and no body to use them with, I'm probably in.

seams to me like Gseries Canon body, I just to have G9 and that was rock solid camera, i hope this one will be to.

Does it have a swivel lcd.
If yes, okay.
If not, forget this brick without a viewfinder
