Ricoh GXR A16 24-85 Announced

Announced on the same day as the K-01 but just a few hours earlier, seems to share the same Sony sensor.

I doubt they share the same sensor because the ISO only up to 3200 (ricoh) Pentax K01 ISO up to 25600

Unfortunately no vibration compensation in this slow lens. I was expecting f/2.8 constant zoom lens :(

The "body" will have the Shake Reduction?

No I'm afraid not. The shake reduction if available supposed to be in this "lensor" unit not the Ricoh GXR body unit. I don't think this lensor has it. Two other units such as RICOH LENS P10 28-300 mm and 24-72mm f/2.8-4.4 has VC = vibration compensation.

Maybe the VC will make the unit a lot bulkier and expensive, so they omit it.
