Kodak Digital Photo Products are Completely Dead! :-(

Last times, they sold their sensor division, and then filed for bankruptcy protection, this time they said they no longer produce major digital photo products..

Official Notice: Update on Kodak's Transformation

Well, it is always sad to see such once a giant company running into a status like this. Sad! :-(

How about Kodak films then? Btw, I still have two rolls of unused ISO 100 "Pro" films of theirs which have not expired yet, which I bought to be used in my MZ-S at fall of the last year.

It really is sad . They were not an angelic company by any stretch. They had a horrible environmental record here in the U.S. , and they were kicked out of the Better Business Bureau in the later years mainly for bungling camera repairs. Marketing drove their business for so long. Everyone knows about the "Kodak Moment". Yet they were and still are in some ways at the very core of photography . Forget film, we should thank them for literally inventing that amazing thing, the digital camera. They may live on producing other products, but Kodak is not really Kodak without photography and cameras. Maybe they will survive, and someday under more competent management rekindle their photographic heritage.
read the title of this thread and thought "You mean somebody finally told Kodak?" lol!
