So, K-5 is just the overall Winner here! The loser is K-7, on the other hand! And it loses just too much and is beaten down in every match! :-(

And well, according to the results, the K-5 *should* sell the best and become the new most popular model of Pentax DSLRs in the days to come! It would sell even more than the K-r. But in reality, will it? :-o :-))

The newest one in all the polls won then. Progress or just the need for the newest camera? :P I say both, but all the newest ones are better than the older ones.
Seem that all the people have to shot in very low light, so the only important issue is the noise at high iso. I use the camera mainly for landscape and the weather sealing or the level indicator (and some other characteristics of K-7) are, for me, more important than the low noise at high iso. I mainly use 100 iso and frequently the tripod.....
I hope the K-5 can have more precise AF system (K-7 sometime make me crazy and simply refuse to focus, so I have to switch manual) and the shutter blur problem solved.
I also guess more good professional lenses.

Waiting for my test of K-5 cannot agree that the K-x is better except for high iso or ...for price.

I'm too shooting more architecture / landscapes pictures, on a tripod... But sometimes, when there is movement, like wind, ore people passing by in the evening, I despairately need high iso - With my K10D I just last there with my sorrows ... THE picture passing by.
:(
But in reality, will it? :-o :-)) = nope because the law of supply and demand. But K5 will be surely better than k7 sales
though in reality, if you already have a k-x and is happy with it, then it make sense to just to stick with it. Otherwise for weather sealing then wait for the k-5.

For the price and weight and size, the k-x certainly punches well above its class. heck judging from the 100% raw on dpreview it its better than the newer cameras from Nikon and Canon.

Though having just sold my my k100d super and k10d, I'm quite interested in the k-x. And having shown my brother the blown up shots, he is itching to swap his Canon 5d for the k5. Weight is definitely an issue for him.
Your sample size here is too small and way too self-selected to draw gigantic conclusions. If the sample were actually randomly chosen, though, you'd have (with 95% confidence) a margin of error of about 6 percentage points. (That is, if you ran this poll again with a different set of voters, each answer would be with 6 of this 95% of the time.) Fortunately for analysis, nothing is actually close except for that one which is right in the middle. The one that might be worth thinking about is the K-r vs. K-7, where a repeat poll could conceivably show a 60/40 split — a solid victory, but not completely one-sided like the other "no brainer" questions. And of course that one in the middle could go either way: you don't have enough information to tell.

So, your conclusion of "K-7 loses every time" fits the narrative you're framing, but isn't completely supported by your data.
Also, the table " The Model Shares by Vote Numbers" is unsound. You can't really draw that kind of conclusion from the way your question was asked. If you're interested in that, you should present a poll with all of four together and ask for rankings. Also, it would be best to specify if you mean at current prices, at launch prices, at prices in some future timeframe, or with money being no object.

With what you have, all you can conclude is: your readers strongly prefer the K-5 over any other option (including the K-r). They also less-strongly prefer the K-r over the K-7 or K-x, but are unsure about the K-7 vs. K-x.
