As long as there are people willing to pay lots of $$$ for a red dot, or for colours, a fancier name, then why not? At least, they got a decent camera, whether it is made by Panasonic or whoever. If you don't take their money, those people will waste it on other things like some really expensive fashion tennis shoes, which will just be worn to walk and show off, or some other name brand fashion. We should thank them for supporting camera makers this way, by their generous donations, to keep camera makers in trouble, such as Leica and Pentax, from disappearing. Limited editions, commemorative models, titanium bodies, special wood cases,velvet and silk cases, certificates and whatever these sxxkers would pay big dollars on are fine.
