DC Watch K-5IIs Vs K-5 Shootout Test, with Large Samples

The colour renditions of the two cameras are indeed different. The focus point of the two cameras are somehow different btw. AF or user error?

For instance, look at this set of f/8 shots, which should usually be the aperture of an APS-C camera at 16M, owing to the diffraction limit:-

Color renditions? I would say the white balance, primarily. And comparing the building structures is not a good idea here 'cause the K-5IIs is focused much closer than the K-5...

The difference here is quite visible...
that lens looks pretty badly decentered. The lower left and upper right are most unsharp.
Yes, you're right. Thanks to the superb Pentax QC at Vietnam, many DA40LE lenses are decentered, especially those early production ones!
