All Voigtlander K-A Mount Lenses are Discontinued

COLOR-SKOPAR 20mm F3.5 SLII KA
ULTRON 40mm F2 SLII KA
NOKTON 58mm F1.4 SLII KA
APO-LANTHAR 90mm F3.5 SLII KA
ULTRA WIDE HELIAR 12mm F5.6 Aspherical"

It seems that it is solely a commercial decision based on the market demand and revenue after all. :-(

So, will Cosina do the same to their ZK line of the Zeiss lenses next (as it has been rumoured)?? :-o

12/5.6 was never for K mount. 75/2.5 was discontinued several years ago.

The ZK line is manufactured by Cosina and has nothing to do with Sony.

The ZK-Line is a Product of Zeiss AG Germany, produced by Cosina.
Sony has nothing to do with it! Sony produce Zeiss-Lenses in licence only for their own products!

Funny, Cosina is Cosina, a third fiddle on the block with V line name taken from a tombstone of once great German camera/lens maker. What exactly loss are we talking about... like Ouch, Makinon, Kiron, Komine etc are not making K compatible lenses anymore? So what...just fewer compatibility issues for the user... The new 18-135mm sounds quite nice if true... GREAT CATCH RH!

40/2 is weaker than FA43 and DA40.
20/3.5 is rather mediocre lens. DA21 is much better.
58/1.4 is interesting, but I think very low demand from Pentaxian
90/3.5 was just announced in new design...

The Nokton 58 is a beautifull lense, it's a shame! I just hope I cand get one from stock they might still have!

There are plenty Noktons on fleebay if you want 58mm and like third party.... Manual only, KA mount $409.00 Item# 280550427469
