Another K-01 1st Review with a Few Full Samples

There are some 100% crops of various test pictures. A few full samples are also available for download, just click on the links as provided. The lens used for the test is the 40mm XS super-thin pancake.

As far as I can see, the IQ of the pictures is more or less same as that of the K-5. It maybe a good thing or not, depending on what you think.

Seems to me that my factory calibrated DELL U2410 needs recalibration .... Every K-01 pictures I see ... seems little too magenta to me.

Not really, I have several different monitors of various makes from Samsung to EIZO to Dell to Philips and etc. and hardware calibrated or not. For the limited K-01 samples I have viewed so far, I am afraid that your observation is right.

View again the photos from your K-5 and see if your Dell really needs re-calibration! ;-D
