The Thinnest K-mount Lens Ever (3rd Party Made)

Via DPR Post Here

Lens is in 55mm at f/8 fixed aperture. A quick glance to the posted samples reveals that the IQ of it is, in one word, pathetic! :-(

I guess it will not be much better than what the upcoming body cap pinhole lens from Pentax (via earlier Blog post here) would deliver. Btw, what is the actual focal of this pinhole/body cap lens? Any body knows? :-o

Well, a single element lens at such flange distance should be of focal length less than 47mm instead.

You've forgot that the lens has a nearly 4mm thickness as well as it is shown.
Umm, maybe you missed the point it's a one off joke to make the wolds thinnest lens not the worlds best thin lens. It is actually a 4 element lens if your wondering. I do stuff like this to amuse myself and if other people like it too all the better. I will actually make it better but I rushed it to market and have poor quality control down in my basement.

The workmanship of your lens looks really good! Not until I clicked on your sample photos, I really wanted to order one!
Thanks, I've got some other ideas in the works as well as improving the performace of this lens. But it is intended to have a plastic lens look, there is no way I'm going to be able to make a high quality optic so I might as well embrace the limitations.
