When "Limited" is Not Limited Anymore..

http://www.pentaximaging.com/dslr/K-5_Silver_Special_Edition

The once was "K-5 Silver Limited" now has been reproduced again and been changed to "K-5 Silver Special" in *name*! I hope not Pentax breaches their promise, the K-5 Silver Limited was meant to be in 1,500 units only worldwide! >:-( Still, I know that some boys will yet argue that it was Hoya, but not now Ricoh!

Btw, it is sold at US$1,600 as a kit set for pre-order. Expensive or not, if I knew that Pentax would re-produce it, I would not have bought my K-5 Black a bit earlier and probably would wait for this.

First noticeable difference is the grip, not the same as silver Limited. Than screen, hardened glass comes to mind and it might be some more. This just looks as a standard K-5 in silver finish.
Here's special edition:

And here's Limited Silver:

Do you see any differences? Take your time.

Will you change the title of your post? Admit perhaps you were mistaken?

Take your time. Better late than never!

PS: Believe it or not, admitting you are wrong when you really are, is actually a virtue and you may get more credibility and respect. Just saying.

You just don't want to admit you were wrong.

Ic you keep deleting stuff I post. Good job. Censorship for the win!

I specifically said, in reply to your K-5 stain reply elsewhere, that you said "You obviously owe me an apology" (paraphrased but close enough)

I replied - I obviously do not. I never criticized you for reporting the K-5 stains. What I did criticize you was for making things up about how Pentax came forward discussing the issue. You completely made up things they didn't do.

I tried posting this now three times with no "bad words" and it is still being deleted.

FYI

The Pentax K-5 Limited:
1.) New reinforced glass cover over the LCD, making it rather more durable than the plastic cover plate from the standard K5.
2.) The hand grip has been reprofiled, which should make it more comfortable in use.
3.) It also replaces several of the black body parts with ones in a silver finished.

The Pentax K-5 Silver Special:
1.) It ONLY replaces several of the black body parts with ones in a silver finished.

Which one do you prefer?

Pentax LX had FOUR special versions. What is the problem?
Limited Edition cameras with limited edition lens are good choice for fans of system for any time.

LX Gold - 300 cameras with A50/1.2 gold
LX Titanium - 1000 cameras
LX Limited - 300 cameras
LX 2000 - 100 cameras with SMC-A 50/1.2 Special lens
LX 2000 - 1000 cameras with SMC-A 50/1.2 Special lens. Not 100
In fact it is a limited - 1500 cameras only. It is not limited by NAME, but is limited in NUMBER.
...
Race, the title is not correct!
