Carl Zeiss E 24/1.8 on NEX-5N Samples

Those samples indeed look quite nice! I meant for the IQ.

Btw, the price of the NEX-5N is comparable to the Pentax Q's, right? But is the IQ comparable? I'm afraid not! And then how much the Q is smaller? Not by that much! :-o >:-(

You're right about IQ of course, but I think the main size/weight difference is in the lens; the APS-C lens is always going to be a lot larger and heavier than an "equivalent" lens for the smaller formats (though the difference will vary according to how you interpret the word "equivalent").

I hope things will be improved, like Pana has successfully downsized their m4/3 lenses finally with their new X-series "HD" lenses.
At ISO1600 - I don't see any IQ from NEX.
The size of the nex system does not compare to the q at all. Not only the body is bigger but those lenses are huge compared to the system. Even microfour third lenses are bigger.

It would be nice if you could Artie more objectively about these pros and cons. And the good nex Sony lenses are all very pricey. The q at least comes with one good lens. Te kit lens of the nex isn't very good.
